Operation fitness plan

So the plotting and planning has begun and the fitness schedule is being drawn up.  Sitting around today with tea and biscuits we have drawn up a plan of what distances we need to be able to cycle by the start of July.  As we’re all living in different areas of the country (Bangor, Leeds, Oxford) most of our training is going to be done alone so we’ve set goals we all need to reach.  Below is the plan of what we want to be able to do by when.

Our milestones are:

  • End of Jan: 40 miles + 10 miles routes on two consecutive days
  • End of Feb: 40 miles + 40 miles routes on two consecutive days
  • End of Mar: 60 miles + 30 miles routes on two consecutive days
  • End of Apr: 100 miles + 30 miles routes on two consecutive days
  • End of May: 80 miles + 80 miles routes on two consecutive days
  • Mid-Jun: 150 miles + 50 miles routes on two consecutive days

We’re aiming to meet up for these dates to show what training we’ve been able to achieve, this should help to motivate us so we know what’s expected and we have no choice but to keep up with each other!
